Mike P not sure abou the Ritchey fork pictured but I uohgbt one earlier this summer and it is huge, like you said, huge! Mine is 480mm a/c (480 maybe) and is also 38mm offset. So, they may be making a shorter one now. Personally, i find it to be the most rigid fork (fore aft and lateral) I have ever riden. I actually prefer a little flex in a rigid fork. i'm not a lightweight fella either.
